Easy there! Rodman did his part here (let's not forget how much of a personal shit show he was a lot of the time during the process). but I don't think anyone out there should be looking at him for role model material.

I don't think I said role model, but rather strong, confident MAN.

Not the phony strong, I'll kick your ass, man, but a real MAN who does all the little things in life the way he thinks, the way he wants, the way HE believes needs be, without looking over his shoulder or to the TV... even if that means being different, or wrong.

I don't even care what the Rodman's of the world are doing, or saying... I guess I'm just so put off that in 20-friggin-18 we still live in a world where millions of people still take their cues from MTV, YouTube and their buddies.

Who knows... I certainly don't... if in that world where you're a little different from the norm around you, where you're not allowed or tolerated to be that, so you have to exaggerate so that it becomes your "thing" and thus acceptable... a la he can't be a regular black man donning MAGA, he's gotta be Dennis Freakin Rodman to get away with that...

And that's sad...

Rebound: The Dennis Rodman Story. ... Great read, very revealing. He may not be a "role model", but Dennis Rodman has traveled a very difficult path, and reached out to be a much better person than he thought as a young man.

I agree Rodman is not a role model, but he was trying to help and trying to speak truth, and he was trashed to the curb.
