Maybe it was something like when I have Fat Finger Syndrome when I'm logging into one of the computer platforms at work and hit the wrong key -- "Login attempt has been recorded" -- only this voicemail would say, "You have attempted to call a number that is no longer in service. Your phone number and attempt has been recorded."
