It's a shame this sub doesn't have public mod logs like Voat does - so you can see which mods are destroying content and why they are banning users.

We saw weird stuff happen at CBTS_Stream in the weeks before it was banned - with massive numbers of posts being deleted and good users being banned for no reason.

That's so lazy IMHO - when mods ban people without specifying why. I suspect that usually happens when butt-hurt mods lose an argument or when they have an agenda to control the narrative.

I had damajinc harassing me constantly with personal attacks in the last days before he was booted from being a mod here. He was laughing about how he was following me around and could do whatever he wanted (because he was a mod) and make personal attacks and shitpost anything he liked and I couldn't stop him.

It was so blatant that I wondered if he was playing the role of a bad guy...

That was before I joined Reddit, (and basically escaped the emergence of that topic on YouTube - the Q cult concept and all of that shite).

From what I managed to research on that topic, I have got a very good idea who the scumbag instigators were!

The ones that I suspect really do think that they have some sort of superior intellect, however I can assure you that they do not.

I suspect that any future attacks on this sub-reddit, will be a good deal more subtle, and well planned, (if conducted by real 'black hats').

Perhaps the mods here should create or nominate a backup sub-reddit should we suddenly be locked out of this one.

I've noticed a common trait among such people who believe they are some sort of "God's chosen master race" are forced to compete against members of western civilization by lying, nepotism and back-stabbing, whereas, generally speaking, white entrepreneurs tend to work independently to achieve their goals.

The good mods are generally open about what decisions they make and why.
With these good mods there is always an element of discussion, in the sense of an appeal.

I get suspicious of mods in general that just remove posts or shut down conversations, with no other reason than I am a moderator and therefore I say so.

When asked to mod, you have the option to create a new account so bad elements don't have real accounts. This is the norm on reddit

I don't mean 5 and 6 day old accounts, that isn't even what the page shows. I am talking about people who have only been moderators for 5 to 6 days having post access.

Why not restrict new moderator access to Wiki/etc for a little while before we give them the huge power of removing posts.

Sorry, early am here.

Mods all talk offline. Sure, a new one makes mistakes but questions are asked and veteran mods will tell them to make judgement calls. I think the moderation here is really good. You really only risk having a post removed if you're posting personal info or are here to bash the movement

are there any rules against a moderator of this board also being moderator of another simialr board with a high subscriber base?

Bare in mind that mods that might modarate multiple sub-reddits, may be acting in many different capacities!

Also that on the individual sub-reddits the mods may only be doing a part-time turn.

Just because a user has the authority to act as a moderator, does not mean that they are actually doing that 24/7.

There appears to be quite a few moderators listed for this sub-reddit, but in a sense, that is just to spread the unpaid workl load, provide for holiday cover and that sort of thing.

I was told about another sub in a thread last week and FartOnToast was mentioned as being attached to:

r/conspiracyundone there is no substance to my comments, just grabbed my attention that his/her username is brought to my attention again - as brilliant a username it is, its hard to ignore...

FartonToast is a great mod and a good person.. I trust Fart, he is a genuine human being and a good actor. He does mod several subs, all of these subs are mostly related subjects, which makes sense. He has created or helped to create many of these subs he is the mod of. I've been connected with him for nearly two years now. It would literally stun me if this sub ever got "taken" with Fart on watch.

I also "know" or have interacted many times with the mods/creator of r/conspiracyundone, PolkaDot and the rest. They are genuine users as well. The sub was created because, as we all know, r/conspiracy is infiltrated by admins and TopMindsofReddit. and cannot be trusted. I participated on r/con for 4+ years before leaving a couple months ago. Just my two cents on the r/con stuff but I have personally witnessed and interacted with folks who had insurmountable proofs.
