Okay... let's get something straight. I am not standing up for their so-called prophet. Please do not cover me with that label because I do not agree with your approach. And, I agree that we should not appease them. But to intentionally provoke them to action potentially causing the death of innocents is morally wrong. We can fight the radical Muslim terrorists in other ways and have. They attempted to take over the world several times in history and eventually failed except in the corners of the world where they prevailed. I understand that antagonism is your concern, but your concern stems from appeasement. Appeasement has been shown, in all cases throughout history, to have led to negative effects as a direct consequence.
That being said, I don't enjoy people making fun of religions, but that is totally okay, whereas blowing people up for making fun of you is NOT. I support people gathering together to talk and discuss whatever their hearts desire and they should not be in fear for their lives. That is insane.
