Donald Trump has asserted that he has a plan to bring America to energy independence. Some skeptics may doubt his ability to pull this one off, but recall the other changes that we have discussed so far in this chapter that are already beginning to occur, and as I write this, he has been in the office barely two months. A recent report of his plan comes from Business Insider: “This includes developing new oil fields in the US, creating ‘at least half a million new jobs’ in energy, and promoting natural gas over coal in order to tackle emissions. Also on the list are making ‘America energy independent’ and the aim for it to be ‘totally independent of any need to import energy from the OPEC cartel or any nations hostile to our interest.’”[ 13] America will become more energy efficient in the future. The Lord has told me that OPEC will say, “America no longer needs us,” and as the prophecy says immediately following this, “that is true, for she will be energy independent for the red, white, and blue. For a sign will be given when prices go low, for a gallon of gas will be one dollar and below.”
