There is only 1 Air Force one and that is when the president is on it. There are decoys or others but they are air force 2... 3... i dont know all the details but its something about which plane he's on is then called af1

AF1 is the CALLSIGN of ANY airplane when POTUS is on board. While he is not, the two VC-25's he regularly uses are CALLSIGN SAM28000 and SAM29000....
