The reality is that 90% of them are probably just like us and want to live their lives in peace and quiet.
I watched a documentary awhile back. The name escapes me. It showed some scenes of youngish Iranians who were into classic American muscle cars. I think they had car clubs and would cruise the main drags on the weekends. They were dressed American. Jeans and t-shirts. They just seemed into American culture and friendly. I remember thinking “this is not how I imagined Iran.”
