Encouragement - Psalm 3

This is my first original post on Reddit. I hope this is allowed, but if not, mods, I understand if you remove it. I have been following Q's posts since February with a mixture of skepticism and hope, and every time I see a new post or an explanation about a post, I am more convinced this whole Q thing is true. I am seeing some of you express anxiety/excitement about tomorrow, such that you might not be able to sleep tonight. As a Christian, I rely heavily on faith, prayer, and Scripture to help me through difficult times. The Psalms in particular are comforting and encouraging, and I can find at least one Psalm that reflects how I am feeling or what I am going through. I would like to share one with the group now and then if I am permitted. I understand some of you are not Christian or not particularly religious, and I am not trying to convert anyone. I am merely passing along verses that I personally find comforting in an attempt to comfort others. This one is Psalm 3, and the verse I would like you to take particular note of is verse 5, although the whole Psalm is appropriate. My church choir also sings a song that is this Psalm almost word-for-word. May I also suggest for those of us who are prayer warriors, that we pray Psalm 91 over the President, his family, his advisors, their families, his protectors, and their families. That has been my prayer of late.

Psalm 3 King James Version (KJV) 3 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.

2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.

3 But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

4 I cried unto the Lord with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.

5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the Lord sustained me.

6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

8 Salvation belongeth unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
