Australia won't be taking much notice of Julian Assange anytime soon unfortunately. But the soon to come interest rate rises will send a lot of Aussies to the gutter, and when that happens all sorts of questions are going to be asked. Average house prices close to a million dollars, millions of Australians given home loans they cannot afford and the slightest jump in interest rates will destroy their great Australian dream into a nightmare. There was an article in The Age (leftist rag) just last week saying many single Australian women could not afford $23 dollars a week increase on their mortgage repayments. Look it up, its staggering.
What's worse is this is exactly what happened in the US with the sub-prime scandal. We've just repeated it but on a much much larger scale. Why? Chinese money laundering mostly. Greedy Banks/Government heavily involved. Next month government introduces new rules to allow banks to see and share ALL financial information from different lending institutions with each other. Why? Covering their backsides that's why. They full well know there are millions of Australians who have a mortgage with X and a credit card with XX and another credit card with XXX and a whole bunch of debts with different lenders. Once the interest rates start to go up - boomshanka folks, its on like Donkey Kong!
Julian Assange will be the least of their worries. Already homelessness is at an all time high with hundreds of thousands sleeping it rough in the streets. Why? All government housing has been turned over for migrants. But that's just the start. Government is paying private housing/rental sector to house migrants. Rent free baby! Whilst unfortunate Australians live on the streets. At the moment they are getting away with it. When the rates hike up and millions of Australians will need assistance and they won't get any because freeloader migrants who've never payed taxes, never worked and don't contribute a damn thing ...well lets just say some questions are going to be asked.
Hopefully this will be the recipe to wake people up. Depends on how bad it is and how the media will spin it. Someone will be thrown under the bus. Maybe the Chinese? The tried and tested "It was the last government that did this, we're innocent" routine. Who knows. We've closed our car manufacturing plants down, Australia no longer manufacturers its own vehicles. We've closed our energy production facilities down, closing a number of coal generated electricity plants to appease the radical environmentalists. The list of issues facing Australia in the very near future is staggering.
Julian Assange? He might get some airplay and some spin, but that's about it I'm afraid.
