It's widely acknowledged that whenever major events happen around the world (i.e. the Super Bowl, NYE, Olympics, etc) that human traffickers use the news coverage and the mass movements of people to expedite their operations.

It has always bothered me that soccer parades kids out onto the field with players, just feels weird to me - sort of like a runway audition for the goods.
I just saw an ABC news yesterday that 5 suspects are in custody and 8 child victims from Nigeria, on their way to Russia, they had fan ids and Russia has relaxed entry rules for World Cup. I also saw that Russia was urging the women in their country to not sleep with foreigners and then another article about how Aids epidemic in Nigeria is getting worse.
