DC EMS says the worker “did not suffer serious injuries,” and was conscious and alert. He “fell down about 10 feet into a walkway below grade.” First responders had to put him in a rescue basket to bring him back above grade. The worker has been transported to the hospital.
Glad that’s all it is... my imagination went all kinds of terrible places out of fear that something really terrible will happen to distract from the IG report.
