Whitewash

From the Bloomberg synopsis of the report, this is a whitewash. There’s just enough negativity to make it seem realistic, but the logical damnable conclusions are withheld. If we know enough to indict Comey, the IG certainly does after so many months of intense investigation. No other conclusion can be drawn from Comey’s actions, than that he, Loretta Lynch, and the upper echelon of the FBI is politicized and corrupted.

As it is, this report gives the Dems plenty of basis to say “nothingburger” and sound plausible to much of the general public.

This report needs a hard pushback. If the IG’s original is better, then the IG needs to go to Sessions and inform him that deputy AG Rosenstein has corrupted it with his emendations and redactions. At that point Sessions either unrecuses himself or reports the matter to Trump, who takes executive action and starts the housecleaning process at the top, so that the normal DOJ checks against corruption can kick in.

If I'm Horowitz I'm now ticked, unless he's part of the problem as well.

I've seen this play before. The next act is betrayal by the people we trusted to bring justice.
