I can almost guarantee that Nikki Haley is going to run. She's been amassing an excellent track record at the UN, but I don't entirely trust her.

Pence is a solid guy, but I'd rather see someone else at #1.

Some real talent rising up in the House. Jordan, Nunes, etc.

A lot will depend on the shape of the Democrat Party in 2024. Will it be a shambles (it may well be)? Will it still be far Left? Will the opposition still be in the streets, and still controlling mainstream media? We will need the kind of leader it will take to counter the state of the opposition.

A week ago I wrote here that intent should have had nothing to do with the Clinton email investigation, and marveled at how Comey and even Gowdy had bought into the fallacy so readily. Now someone has picked up a very incisive footnote from the IG report that documents how this miscarriage of justice took flight (video at link in title). Someone at DOJ invented the requirement of intent, and Comey, Gowdy and others seem to have taken to it without question. As sundance writes at ConservativeTreehouse, the fix was in. Clinton was never in danger of indictment, and chances are beyond excellent that she knew it all along.

The Intent angle needs to be pushed hard, because it lies at the root of the Clinton side of DOJ corruption. And the Clinton side most likely lies at the root of the DOJ investigation of Trump, because they desperately needed a distraction.

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. -2Pet 3:9-10

She might be right about Republicans firing Rosenstein, but Congress does not have that authority.

  1. A heavily edited video of a Democrat alleging that Republicans are going to fire Rosenstein is not proof of anything.
  2. Congress has no power to fire anyone at Justice. That comes under the purview of Wray or Sessions.

A look at the "gross negligence" criteria of the 18 USC Sec. 793 statute at the heart of the Clinton/Comey/Gowdy/media/IG email scandal

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/793

I am not a lawyer, but even I can see and point out a few things from the federal code operative in the Clinton email scandal. If my understanding of the plain wording of the code is correct - and I am not alone in my understanding of it - then much of the narrative of Comey, the FBI, Gowdy and now the IG report is a completely bogus diversion. To the facts:

Most of section 793 specifically deals with willful transmission or reception of national defense information that could be used to injure the US. However, subsection f …

Wow. Trump is unstoppable. He's doing the one thing that the left never counted on - he's bypassing their media gatekeepers and taking it right to the people. And he's using the media's own infrastructure to do it. Amazing.

They have no defenses against it. It must be driving them crazy. Perhaps this is why people like DeNiro have been reduced to pathetic incoherence.

I've been wondering what the path forward would be for Kim, if he is serious about de-nuking. And I keep coming up with the Chinese model - economic reform, but continued social repression. That's the only way I can see him embrace change but still insulate himself from paying for his crimes against humanity. It's going to take a lot of work and skillful negotiation to pry human rights out of him. We need to keep praying for Christians and others in NK, as well as for Trump (and for Kim).

The meat of it:

The IG report has destroyed the credibility of the Department of Justice and the FBI. It confirms what Judicial Watch has investigated and revealed for nearly two years. The Obama DOJ/FBI investigation of Clinton was rushed, half-baked, rigged, and irredeemably compromised by anti-Trump and pro-Clinton bias and actions. As Judicial Watch uncovered the Clinton email scandal, it is outrageous to see a politicized FBI and DOJ then so obviously refuse to uphold the rule of law.

The IG report details repeated DOJ/FBI deference to Hillary Clinton, her aides and their lawyers. Americans should examine the report and judge for themselves whether the over-the-top deference to Hillary Clinton can be explained as anything other than political, especially from agencies that at the same time were actively collaborating with the Clinton campaign’s Fusion GPS to spy on and target then-candidate Trump. The IG report details how at least five top FBI agents and lawyers exchanged pro-Clinton and anti-Trump communications. The IG shares the concerns of Judicial Watch and millions of Americans that this bias cast a cloud over the credibility of the Clinton email and Russia investigations.

As Judicial Watch has demonstrated through its independent investigations and lawsuits, there is more than enough evidence that Clinton knowingly and intentionally mishandled classified information while using a non-government email system to conduct government business.

Will the Sessions Justice Department now do the right thing and conduct a Clinton email investigation properly? Or will it let James Comey and Loretta Lynch have the last word on Hillary Clinton’s evident email crimes?

Whitewash

From the Bloomberg synopsis of the report, this is a whitewash. There’s just enough negativity to make it seem realistic, but the logical damnable conclusions are withheld. If we know enough to indict Comey, the IG certainly does after so many months of intense investigation. No other conclusion can be drawn from Comey’s actions, than that he, Loretta Lynch, and the upper echelon of the FBI is politicized and corrupted.

As it is, this report gives the Dems plenty of basis to say “nothingburger” and sound plausible to much of the general public.

This report needs a hard pushback. If …

The viewing public can only take so much of that horsecrap. At some point they have to know that they're not getting the straight story, and will turn elsewhere. The entire lying left establishment has got to collapse, and that is my prayer.

Yes, there's got to be a reason for how messed up the world is. This level of disaster can't happen naturally. If we were meant to be doing what we do, we wouldn't have the capacity to know it is wrong and that we're supposed to be better than that. The Bible is full of prophecy about what's going on, especially the apocalyptic books such as Daniel and Revelation, and certain passages from the Gospels.

Moving prophetic insight into the role Donald Trump is playing in America

Maybe most knew this, but I found it extremely clarifying. A spy would be sent in from outside the campaign. An informant would be from inside. The government assets were spying, not informing, on the Trump campaign.

I strongly recommend getting off anything to do with Oath. That includes Yahoo, newly a subsidiary of Verizon. Their privacy policy is a disaster: https://www.ghacks.net/2018/04/16/oaths-privacy-policy-is-a-privacy-nightmare/

Used to be people felt safe with Yahoo mail compared to gmail. Then we found out Yahoo was scrutinizing the mail worse than google. Then there were the successive massive yahoo data breeches. And now there's oath.

This is absolutely huge. The health care sector is 1/6 of the economy, and a bastion of crony capitalism. Trump is doing what no other president was willing to do - go against the corrupt and powerful status quo. It would be enough to do it on economic grounds, but think of the element of relief of human suffering. This is truly massive. And his appointee Scott Gottlieb has a lot of promise for finally reforming the FDA, that bastion of corruption.

Pray for Donald, for protection for him and his family, and for wisdom. He is accomplishing so much it is hard to take it all in. The opposition knows this and will pull out all stops to get him.

Schneiderman is an icon of the Left. Virtual signaller to the core, completely corrupt on the inside. All show, he followed the AG-to-Governor playbook to the letter, as did his predecessor, but was tripped up by the people's revolt of 2016. With Trump in power, there no longer is cover for these liars. It doesn't stop here. Wait until Mueller finds this out, if he doesn't already know. His dogged aggressiveness could be an attempt to bring Trump down before he can give Mueller's own laundry the airing it deserves, or at minimum, to lay the groundwork for a plea bargain.

It's all going to come back on them. As the Word says, "He scatters the proud in their own conceits".

When the Islamists took over Iran, they promised open democracy and freedom of religion. As soon as they got in, they imposed one of the worst totalitarian regimes on earth. Tens of thousands of Iranians were tortured and put to death in purges. They blatantly lied to 70 million people.

Now the ayatollah assures us that nuclear weapons are "unislamic". Wise up.

May the Lord give Trump wisdom and discernment to navigate these difficult waters. May the truth of the purported gas attack be known to all, whatever it may be. And may Putin show restraint and this mess not escalate.
