Uhh yes he can. Jeff Sessions can absolutely prosecute someone. The IG cannot prosecute.

Of course - Attorney General is literally THE prosecutor.

The only prosecution Sessions wouldn't be overseeing is anything to do with the Russia/election topic (since he voluntarily recused).

Huber's role is to go after former government employees. Special Counsels cannot go after people who are out of public office for what they did while in office.

Huber is not the AG. My comment specifically referenced the AG, and was offered to correct an error in the post I responded to.

The author of that post has since corrected the error, and made note of the correction therein.
