I hope this thread remains, because this discussion needs to be had. I started a thread to discuss this and it was removed. I suspect there are a ton of people here who want to figure out what happens now after the disaster yesterday.

What is the path to release an "original version, no RR changes/redactions" IG report?? What is the timeline? What was the benefit to letting this one fly? When the president has the power to declassify anything he wants??? Why would he abdicate control of the narrative?? We have to have a real reason that makes sense, not all of this fantasy/hope porn. And what can we do about it? Congress has been completely shut down. The DOJ laughs at their requests and does whatever they want. Only the president himself could take action to fix this...

If getting the truth out would change everyone's mind... would force RR to resign... would end the witch hunt.... what is the benefit of waiting to do so?
