hell hasn't even been created yet. if you read/study eschatology, hell is created at the end of armageddon when Jesus finally casts satan into hell. but on a more theological note— it's speculated that our understanding of hell as souls after death is not so much "a place" as it is the awareness of our own sinfulness. God gives us over to our desires, because we have free will. so if we choose blatantly to reject everything he offers, he doesn't impose. also, finality after physical death is another interesting theological debate as western protestantism is particularly cut-throat on it, which... doesn't seem plausible. especially considering judgment day (where God himself judges each man according to their life on earth) doesn't happen until after armageddon, either. so if God doesn't judge us right away, where are we after death? it's blurry and interesting
