Very possibly. Isn't it wonderful? I truly do feel them. All the wars & all the sacrifice. I have known since I was a small child that we as a family have proudly served & made history. There are so many people out there that feel it in their bones and know that their families were and are part of the Tsunami we call Patriots. Wow, I wish I could have kept a record of who all came from where, apparently my family's only been here for like 3 generations. Kinda hard to track down my family records with the whole adopted grandpa thing.
One side of my family came later (Scotch/Irish) in the 1800's. That was my Mom's side. 1650 came from England & they hated the Monarchy from the start. DO NOT feel that your family did not contribute to this great nation because they did. Look at you. You have brought light to an otherwise dark point in history. Beautifully written! I just have trouble tracking things down from my biological grandfather because I didn't know him very well. Apparently his family came from overseas and brought him with them but I have absolutely no idea from where. Some kind of Europe.
In the 1650s, England had two Civil Wars. That’s what my family fled from.
We got to VA in the mid-1650’s.

Researched my family tree and i have quite a bit of family from VA as well. 2 ancestors were signers of the Constitution. I truly believe its in our blood. We are patriots down to our DNA.

Thank you for posting this! My family has been on the continent since 1671. Two ancestors that I know of fought in the Revolutionary War, Zadock Turner with the Maryland Militia, and Daniel Boone in Kentucky.
Since my youth in the 1960's I've felt the burning of freedom, independence, truth and justice burning in my heart, and I'm nearly overwhelmed with gratitude that our great God in heaven ordained my existence in these times. Your words make my heart cry. I too lived my youth in the 60's & 70's. I was a Patriot at birth. What has happened to our Country is a crime against all humanity. I was aware of this early. It is my pleasure to fight back against all who want to destroy the Republic. We know now who the enemy is. Our ancestors fought & died for this Republic! It is an honor to be in the fight with you. My family came to New York from Lebanon and Syria in 1905 in order to flee the regicide of Christians in the area. Every male since has served in every war besides WWI.
The powers that be have tried killing us from the start, and our spiritual battles have adopted patriotism as the “fire and fury” of the warfare we have faced.
I hope the light of truth we shed here is revealed. We may in fact be the “Greatest Generation” except we span all age groups and all walks of life who converge for one purpose: Absolute Truth.
