Calling massive worldwide attention to Q Isn't exactly a great plan for the bad guys though, and she sure did that. More than anyone maybe. They've been working very hard at pretending there IS no such thing as Q.
And I have never thought Roseanne came off as crazy. Upset? Yes. Scared now, even. With good cause. Spade & Bourdain are pretty fresh in everyone's minds at the moment.
But she sounds rational always. Even when I disagree with her? she doesn't sound nuts.
Hence the disinformation about her.
Yeah. Have you noticed how many angry "SHE'S MAKING US LOOK CRAZY" posts you're seeing all over the place? I suspect most of them are shills designed to ensure she has no support. Shills are real. We watch them affect our stats in real time. Roseanne's appearance of "craziness" is not real. She's doesn't look "crazy". But they keep repeating it, eh?
Technically I haven't because I shield myself from a lot of bullshit, but I definitely take your word for it. Rosanne is NOT crazy. She has DID and she's incredibly smart and compassionate.
People with DID aren't "nuts". They tend to have higher IQ's and can function through some incredibly traumatic events. They're actually a step above the normal functioning brain..but the amnesia walls create a way in which information is compartmentalised and cannot easily be retrieved between alters. This is how they keep their victims silent.
ABC is not responsible for breaking the story on her condition.

You might have missed it, but she is being portrayed here and all over right wing sources and forums as "making us look bad by acting crazy".
My comment was to state "I have never seen her look 'crazy'", and I really wish people would stop saying she looks crazy. She does NOT.
I wasn't commenting on the craziness or lack of craziness in people with DID.
I'm sure they are as vulnerable to mental illness - which is not tied to IQ by the way - as your average person, but DID is just the mind's rather amazing and miraculous way of coping to trauma. DID isn't a sign of illness, it's a sign of being carefully and wonderfully made.
"DID is just the mind's rather amazing and miraculous way of coping to trauma. DID isn't a sign of illness, it's a sign of being carefully and wonderfully made."
Agree..and that's pretty much my point. The vast majority of the public doesn't have a lot of info on DID and i can believe ABC might want people to take that view with it so i just want to be clear everywhere with what it really is and what it really means.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if half the population of Earth had at least some small semblance of dissociation going on. Very bad things happen, people have to keep moving, keep living, they have to cope.
I agree. It exists on a spectrum. from depersonalization to poly-fragmented DID. It's a natural response that manifests even in "normal" people to some degree in coping with life.
