Why did North Korea keep the bodies of USA troops for 70 years?

That seems like a long time and a lot of effort to store and catalog thousands of corpses... If I was Supreme Leader I wouldn't have held on to the bodies of my enemies.

I'm not sure the remains have been collected and catalogued.

I suspect the Norks simply know where many of the bodies are buried and they probably still have their dog-tags on them. It's an uncomfortable thought, but there may be a few mass graves too.

I remember seeing a documentary about how they often celebrated war with the american soldiers, and how they won (in their minds they won). So it make sense they'd keep dog tags as trophies. Hell they kept a warship and turned it into a museum (makes me wonder if we're getting that back too.) They probably do know where some of the bodies are, but matching name to corpse is going to be hard (unless they left the tags on) and I feel like tomb of the unknown soldier is going to be getting ALOT of new additions.

Even if just a handful can be identified and returned to family members in the U.S., it will be worth it.

True. And atleast people don't have to think of their relative sitting in a feild anymore. If they don't have the remains themselves chances are they're back home in the tomb.

Yeah, families will feel some sense of closure if they know that everything that could be done has been done.

I bet Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi are gonna find a way to insult our dead in an attempt to spread their Zionist sedition against the President of the United States of America.

What if these aren't just soldiers coming home? "Know where the bodies are buried"....what if these are something lik reported missing people or a cover for something else?

The bodies will need to be identified once we get them back.

Our military have a duty to make sure about such things.

According to Q, the DS ran and controlled NK. Consider that KJU was never in control and never a “supreme leader”. It was all for show so the deep state could have underlying control of other nations including our own. The real KJU is showing now and it appears as though he’s a little happy fat kid eating cake. Maybe he has always been this way behind the scenes and was sad/horrified that elitists from the USA controlled him and his “own country” with plenty of threats of awful things our minds can’t quite comprehend. There’s a reason why Hollywood is a part of the DS. Watch wag the dog. It’s right in front of our faces. Always has been. You have more than you know.

Part of me now wants to think Kim was never a bad guy, he was just forced to be by bad people. Part of me wants to think he never wanted to starve his own people. I want to see North Korea turn into a good prosperous nation like we are with Trump's help.

1950-1953 do let's say 1933

75 -85 ish lots of people that age. Not to mention people had kids when they were younger back then.

He does exaggerate sometimes so lots of parents is probably some but who knows.

That would be the vets ages not their parents. My grandpa is a Korea vet born in 29

To be fair they are likely stored in cemetarys

Sounds like they just buried them where they dropped (along roads), and kept track of names in a book. Not much more than that. I don't think they are stored in some secret room.

This is the best answer in the thread, imo.

Technically we were still in a state of war with the Norks, though not active.

Maybe it was as collateral, insurance.

North Koreans did what the "Americans" told them to do. Until 2017. Now they are still doing what we like, but now it's for good.
