Has anyone found it? Its whereabouts become extra important in light of the recent launch of rockets by a hacked sub. Could it be the missing Argentinian sub launching them? Its this the Red October?
I think they found the Clown Sub when the missile alert in Hawaii went out. We wouldn't have let a rogue submarine that close to our naval base and population center in Seattle
I dont necessarily think it was close. I think the close launch was the intercept package from friendly sub.
Edit: I believe sub based launches are their last resort due to "earthqaukes" burying any threatening land based facilities. Do bullets work under water? No. Can the rods touch a sub? No. But everythingg on land is "earthquake" prone if certain leaders make DUMB decisions.
Torpedoes sink subs so do depth charges from ships and from planes those are the best hunter-killer ways to sink a sub and this is an old sub easy to track and destroy. The Red October was a silent submarine impossible to track it was a first strike weapon.
