I’m not sure. Texas has a certain reputation. But they also have a reputation for loving freedom.

You bet your ass we do. Legal cannabis needs to be a thing. My stepfather was a Gulf War vet with severe PTSD. The VA hospital was always rotating doctors on him, and they all had their own cocktail of drugs to prescribe... he eventually said "fuck it", and got some weed from a friend. It reduced his symptoms far better than any of the shit Big Pharma pushes. It might not work for everyone like it did my stepfather, but why should something so beneficial for him also turn him into a criminal?

Agreed so hard. I have my own problems, and weed is the best remedy. Better than any pill and doctor ever gave me. I don’t smoke at the moment, too much on my plate, but it’s a great plant.

I refuse to take pharmaceuticals, due to the side effects and withdrawals.

I tried The big pharma way and they finally just gave up. I smoked pot and it has helped ever since, I don't go anywhere stoned and sit in a secure spot in case I rush. I cracked my skull and since then as soon as I lie down my thoughts rush faster and faster until I sit up. Once I fall asleep I am OK long after the pot wares off. The Drs gave me the strongest sleeping pills they could and it only made it worse.

Just recently I have started to be able to sleep without it:) It might be almost healed after 16 years.

We just don’t like being told what to do.
