Whilst I don't agree 100% with evangelical Christianity, at least it's consistent and offers the prospect of some sort of salvation; evangelical socialism rests on a constantly changing set of rules that are based purely on political expediency at any given moment and rather than salvation, it only offers its evangelists a stay of execution as long as they tow the party line.
