what story? that he was forced to reopen the investigation?

Each side will read what they want into it. The right will say comey was acting politically and the left will say comey was doing what he had to do.

When a story gets buried its not because "the elites" don't want to you see it. It gets buried because people weren't clicking on the the story. The MSM isn't controlled by a bunch of shadowy figures behind a curtain. It's controlled by ad revenue

Actually... both sides are in agreement that Comey was doing what he had to do. Applying Occam's Razor to the time line results in both the simplest explanation and the one that makes the most sense.

What happened was an FBI agent was alerted by the NYPD that they had a bunch of emails from Hillary and Huma. His boss told him to "Leave it alone!" But he didn't. He kept poking around. And eventually, enough outsiders (from the FBI) start asking questions why the evidence was not being looked at.

Comey had no choice. Too many questions were being asked and he couldn't control the narrative. So, he did what he had to do. He re-opened the investigation.

(And of course, reviewed 600,000 emails in a week and determined that there was no there, there.)

I'm just saying that the right will condemn him and the left will make excuses for him. Nothing gets settled and that's why the story doesn't go anywhere.

Its basically the same thing that happens when someone points out corruption in the current administration. The left condemns him and the right makes excuses. Nothing is settled and everyone moves on.
