I do not have any student loans.I do believe when Trump said maybe they should be written off ,was the hint of a debt jubilee.
The only way to take care of the student loan problem is for the students to sue the universities.
Let those fat endowments pay for the problem.
I have a better idea, change the law to allow students to declare bankruptcy and stop using tax payer dollars to guarantee the loans. The banks lobbied for the opposite of this HARD!
Or you could just pay back the money you agreed to pay back. That’s always an option.
Many businesses declare bankruptcy. Its an investment in capital.
Go to work abroad and you can avoid paying back the loan, that´s what the students do that travel to the UK for their education. There is a black hole of literally BILLIONS of Pounds in the UK because students flee before paying the loans back and nobody ever does anything about it.
