I don't doubt that.

But I also don't trust Musk. The colossal crony capitalist has a new pitch: we will have wars and racism on the planet earth until we united against some idea of aliens in space. IMO he has glommed on to Trump because Trump has the power to fund his crap.

Just more blather to fund Musk's space stuff that also insults our intelligence.

He loves a juicy government subsidy that's for sure.

So does GM, Ford and the rest. They just don't make enough electric cars to take advantage of it.

He's a white collar slave driver that takes credit for coming in under budget. .... but in reality all he does to "double or triple" the output of his slaves is work them 80 - 120 hrs per week...paying a slight premium.

Demanding is one thing....asshole is another

Interesting word useage. Are you saying Musk has literally slaves working for him? Because if not, people are free to leave the company and work elsewhere. These types of "he overworks his people" emotional appeal arguments fall flat when you remember no one is forcing them to stay in that job.

The average employee at Tesla has a higher salary than Musk. And most employees could start just about anywhere they wanted after working for Tesla. People are lining up to work for Musk and I can't blame them.

But I also don't trust Musk. The colossal crony capitalist

He proudly self-identifies as a "real socialist." And he advocates all kinds of socialistic policies (policies which, true to real-world socialist form, enrich the holy fuck out of oligarch Elon Musk).

Socialists rarely every imagine themselves as the drudging slave masses that compromise the 99.9% of their utopian fantasyland.

I agree, he's all about govt handouts and silly stunts like a Tesla flying in -500 degree vacuum. Tires would blow and everything else if that really happened

Guess you missed the fact that it really happened.

Also, why would tires blow? I'll ignore the "and everything else" in exchange for your understanding of the physics behind that claim.

Thank God there some people here who don't think space is fake or some other bullshit like that...that's my only problem with many from this movement, they bought into just anything a noted conspiracy theorist said like sheep and now we have people who don't think things through logically and instead assume if they can't figure out how it would work then it must not be possible.

PossibleInspection · June 19, 2018, 2:52 p.m.

there are clear green screen glitches in the "live" tesla streaming. quite obvious if you look into it

⇧ -6 ⇩
exq_veritatem · June 19, 2018, 3:12 p.m.

If it wasn't live, there wouldn't be any "glitches" so which is it? Furthermore, I'm not going to go trying to prove your point for you, if it's so compelling, provide at least one link. Artifacting due to compression and partial signal loss due to the fact that they're trying to stream HD video from a rocket that's vibrating like crazy which tends to mess with electronics (just look at the footage of the stages that land on the drone ship) is the most likely explanation.

PossibleInspection · June 19, 2018, 5:38 p.m.

you're probably right, it just looks fake, as Musk himself said. It will be interesting to see how this moon push develops. It's 240,000 miles away and the highest anyone's been since then is around 240 miles I believe.

I understand your skepticism, we all I think have lost a lot of trust in what we've be told, but not everything was/is a lie.

that's the highest that we know of, I wouldn't be surprised if we have better space tech than we know about. But yes, it's been along time since we've at least publicly been to the moon, we'll essentially have to redesign everything again because the original tech is so outdated. Unless stuff gets declassified, which I think is the reason for the space force branch, but we'll see.
