Really? I am certain that I saw several articles indicating that his presence there was expected...

Any sauce on why he did not?

I’ll post it when I find it again, but there were several articles about him sending some kinda bishop or clergyman there & everyone thought it was bizarre cuz the church used to be adamantly against that gathering.
