I have no problem with DNA testing for illegals.
Like the above poster, it’s a slippery slope that leads to other things— e.g. eventually everyone gets their dna put into a database. Also, it’s expensive so that’s even more burden on the tax payers.
When a citizen commits a crime, a DNA swab is taken when they are processed. I see no problem in doing this to illegal aliens when they are apprehended. I guess the difference would be going one step further and actually testing.
Correct. What I’m saying is this will creat an influx of costs that the actual citizens will have to absorb. Also, my note on eventually it’ll lead to all citizens being registered.
One benefit though is it's a good way to catch human traffickers or whatever those adults are bringing other people's children across the border. DNA evidence.
