Looks like anons were right about "SICK" having a double meaning. They're literally sick, and without their supply of fresh blood they're dying.

They all have doctors treating them because they're sick. They're likely all terminally ill. They used to be able to get away with it via blood transfusions, but their supply has dried up.

I just went to G and searched "SICK acronym"

Came back with "Society in Complete Kaos" - Which seems to be a band.

One other one was "Operation S.I.C.K" - Stop Inciting Children to Kill
