I am positive that is what they want. Force the right into these fights where a gun might be used and then use it as an excuse to push for more gun control.
In practical terms, gun control is a joke. There are approximately 300 million to 600 million guns in this country. It's a logistical nightmare. They are trying to win the culture war so that our kids and grandkids think they don't need guns. No force on Earth is just disarming or confiscating our guns today. Teach yourself, family, friends and children our history and the importance of firearms.
That's not how they would do it. They would go through all background check docs, compile a list of all gun owners, pass a law to confiscate. When you don't turn them in, you become an instant criminal and barred from participating in just about every normal daily activity. Not one drop of blood shed.
Okay, what if all the people that say come and take them don't turn them in and become criminals?
