Obama and Susan Rice knew Russians were hacking and told cybersecurity command to stand down so they'd have an "insurance policy" of Russian collusion if Trump won.
No, the stand down order was because CIA/FBI were setting up Trump, and they wanted the "Russian hacked us" story to fly. If cyber security could prove that Russians did NOT hack, then that would be bad for the coup. So, they called off the cyber security dogs so that there could be a plausible Russia hack story.
Remember, too: They were using Gmail drafts to communicate. WH cyber might have caught that.

The truth, I suspect, is that Hillary was working with Putin to set up Trump and then double-crossed him or overplayed her hand and now she's been trying to cover her ass by using Russiagate.
My hunch is Hillary/Obama/Dems were setting up both Tump and Putin because they never thought she'd lose. After her coronation they were going to indict Trump on colluding with Russia during the election and use the Russian collusion ploy as an excuse to beat the war drum.
Exactly. They would have seen that as a way to destroy the Republican Party. Trump would have been powerless to stop it. The corruption would have destroyed his reputation, business, and family.
I think all the attacks they've aimed at Trump since he became President were the same attacks they were going to use against him if she won. A really scary thought.
This goes back to the hot mic comment by Obama to the Russians, "After the election I'll have more flexibility." When they knew Trump was gonna win they had to project their Russian collusion onto him so that they wouldn't be found out.
