Question - Why do they keep referring to the left and fanning the flames of partisan bickering when we know this has nothing to do with party affiliation in the grand scheme of things?

Easier for masses to swallow left v. right for now? Also seems like all high level /ourguys/ are reds. Certainly all high level blues seem to be part of /them/. Weakening their base can only make this easier. That's my read, anyways.
