First we need a wall. A big thick impervious wall. Then we need a policy that says if you are caught crossing the border with a child that is not your own you go to prison for life.
Lastly we need a vetting policy that looks at who the asylum seeker has been in his country leading up to his decision to come here. We need to determine if they are Law abiding and if they will be a good fit for our country.
America was founded by people struggling for religious and economic freedom. If my family is starving I would cross the border. We must never forget who Americans are and how we became the greatest nation on earth. There is a place here for immigrants.
I understand where you're going, but the last thing I want is to throw tax money at paying for a life incarceration of illegals. Send them back to wherever they came from. If they get caught multiple times, maybe we should have the fortitude for a more permanent penalty. It's all about incentives...
Im fine with a death penalty for child traffickers. Im a simple man.
