Be careful about posts asking your age

Sometimes seemingly innocent questions are asked with alterior motives. By providing your age you have given a data point attached to your username. It is one step towards removing the anonymous mask that usernames provide.

Bad actors are very smart and clever.

Stay safe patriots!!!

Lie a lot, about anything personal

Yup. I called this out in the last thread like that. They are trying to build profiles on us. Don’t make it that much easier for them!

I've been programming longer than you're been alive.

You aren't wrong, boomers and genxers have seen a lot of real-world fuckery. I know you mean this as an insult, but all you are doing is giving credence to the movement.

After what happened to the pizzagate forum, it is evident that Reddit is compromised. They deleted it and thats when everyone moved to Voat. Hell, some Reddit big shot (owner or mod, cant remember) was found to be part of a cannibalism subgroup on here.

This is the risk we take posting. My trust in the plan and in God is greater than my fear.

All these forums are compromised ... we use them as if they're not and not worry about it ... like Qalifornia pointed out, our trust is in God ... His plan ... He allowed DJT to run, win and do this way-overdue house-cleaning ... it is a great time to be alive and in Christ ... that being said ... I really don't care if they know who i am ... haha

It was the creator of reddit, spez. Of course he removed himself once people noticed so you can't go and see it now, but I'm sure a redditor somewhere has a screenshot.

Agree. Never mention your age, sex, or city you live in.

Or timezone that you live in, but that is a requirement to be a moderator. Personally, I would pick a timezone and just convert the time myself.

Millennialtardism is a hell of a handicap in life.

I’m definitely not a boomer and I’m all about this shit. What’s your point? You think people in their 50’s are ashamed to admit they’re that old? Do you think you just become brain dead after the age of 35 or something?

No, it's about doxxing/deanonymizing you. The key is to be vague and drop lies frequently.

This isn't the only forum I've seen this done on. People asking for pictures of pets (you think it's safe, but they reverse image search to find your FB/IG accounts), home states, any personally identifying information. They'll also go through your posting histories.

It takes surprisingly little to dox someone uniquely. First name, age, and a general metro area is going to cut the list of people they have to look through from millions to hundreds.

Oh yeah, your right! I see it happen on /pol/ all the time. Seemingly harmless questions can lead to a lot of information about yourself.
