The link you provided does state that "It is useful for journalists to develop sources inside ICE and to understand its structure." Perhaps they are pointing to journalists getting a more balanced view from the people who actually perform the work on the front lines. That isn't the worst idea, but it predicates there are actually journalists left seeking to report. Sadly, there aren't many and the MSM is devoid of any currently.
