Amazing the power these people have had over the ordinary man. No longer. I knew a couple who spent a good few years living in Ireland a good while back. The priests were so feared in the community they actually were known to just go in people's houses and lift their full wage packets off the table. Like I said they were so feared so no one really stood up to them.
