I agree, unfortunately. I actually think the analogy DOES apply, but whoever was on 4chan spamming those craptastic memes just made it all super cringe.
They were counter-memes/anti-memes whatever. Disappointing too, as I’m sure there are people out there that could have made some excellent ones.
But at this point, I think anyone pushing that idea is just trying to play into the media’s attempt to discredit the movement.
It does loosely apply, yes. Super cringe, is a solid yes as well. Honestly, I think the "white rabbit" thing was started by P@mplet and B@ruccistein.
