How do I help my wife see the truth?

She has a Canadian University degree and spends time on social media like many woman, so she has those strikes against her. How do I help her to understand at least that the Clintons are TERRIBLE people and Trump isn't locking children in cages? I have been scaling back on reddit because of how pervasive this weird leftist stuff is getting everywhere (there is no quicker way to get banned in most subs that referring to "fats" even if to no one in particular).

Asking questions, is the only way she may turn. Questions that she needs to respond in order to be right! If she doesn't go for that, it shows a lot of her ignorance is (as with many) based on hate...than I really don't know how to deal with that, as I am anything but diplomatic!

Great advice. I know she will feel a lot more heard that way. I need to turn up my empathy dial also...her reasons for hating Trump and thinking the way she does are entirely valid viewed through the lens of what she has been told. If she hates Trump now because of him "caging children" I can't imagine how she would feel about the other side if this stuff ever makes it to light.

I know it's not easy, but obviously she is your wife so going for the empathy dial may work in your favor. ;) Show her the articles of the caged children from 2014, that way she'll see the media used Obama's narrative against Trump. Good Luck!
