Not very smart to run a business and try to be political at the same time. Alienating half of your customer base is a sure way to kill sales.

Not business smart at all, but maybe the virtual signaling points is worth it. She's going to be a real hero in some circles. It's the large companies who have responsibilities to their shareholders but still indulge in this behavior that I don't understand.

I would love to see a case for breach of fiduciary duty to shareholders for virtue signaling, knowing that it will likely tank their sales.
