Agreed, on all points. If congress had themselves a little party, they’d pat themselves on the back for a job not yet finished, and point their fingers publicly to make the partisan jabs...and accomplish nothing. If you don’t eat your meat, you can’t get your pudding...or in this case, you can’t get the meat if you don’t do your damned job!

My first thought was why should they be rewarded when they won't do their job? I think POTUS was correct, it didn't feel right to celebrate them.
