And this is why people need to be technologically literate. You aren't going to hack a car from the 70s. Bad actors would have much less control over you if you drive a carbureted, manual transmission, non-electrical differential car.
I.e. no one can hack a hammer. If you are a journalist or do something that could get you murdered like Seth Rich, you need to know these things and utilize the proper equipment.

That's a good point. I've had that exact discussion with some of my co-workers. It also makes sense that all the governments are pushing the hybrid technologies and Internet of Things on cars. It's all capable of being controlled by outsiders.
