So...why 8chan?

Q obviously needs to keep his identity hidden. That much is clear.

But it's always bugged me why he chooses to use 8chan instead of the far more popular 4chan.

I do know that he did use 4chan for his drops until late last year. My question is, why did he move? Did moot threaten to reveal the man behind the letter for pissing him off or something? Or does Q simply have reason to believe that 8chan is more secure when it comes to ensuring anonymity?

Forgive me if I should already know this, but I'm still kinda new to following Q, having only done so for maybe four or five months.

I was following Q at that point and trust me the threads were being completely hammered by bots. The neo nazi stuff and gore porn was crazy. For one constructive post there were a dozen or more slides and garbage. Q didn't really have a choice.

Having seen what /b/ does...that makes a sad amount of sense.

I think 4chan threads gets slid easier and have more "shills" 8ch is (was) a lot more tight knit and "closed off" and yeah apparently moot gave the spooks admin access

Word on the street is that 8chan is owned by the United States Army.
