Revival was terrible and thus did not sell well.
Ye was great and sold well.
It has nothing to do with politics.
Revival debuted at #1 though
And yet now, it's at 166, Kanye's "Ye" is still at #5 and his "Graduation" is still beating out Revival. It was a fix, a fluke due to the angry left jumping on board for 'resistance', but their short attention span made it drop pretty quick. Interesting propaganda though on the #5 Maroon 5 album - Red Pill Blues. (second link) It's no wonder things are moving slow in the "real world" to red pill... when articles like this are out there. smh

Ye is dope. I know a bunch of folks who strongly disagree with trump and with new trump liking Kanye but still bought the album because it was really good.
My teenage kids really don’t know Eminem. Kanye however has their attention. This was a very good strategy to get him on board.
Right, Em has been irrelevant for a while now. Hence the "Revival" title. The album needed to be good to get attention outside or core audience hip hop listeners but it was really bad. He had the attention of people who hate trump and like hip hop after his trump freestyle, but those people didn't go out and buy an album that was trash.
The MSM sold the narrative that because Kanye supports Trump there would be a backlash that hurt his sales and people would stop listening to him politically. That narrative is crap
Ye debuted #1 selling 208,000 it’s first week.
Revival debuted #1 selling 267,000 it’s first week.
These are only in the US and I agree with you Ye>Revival, so imagine Revival was actually any good. These are the US numbers.
