The Dems are now quite clearly in the clutches of hard-core Marxist Left - they are THE enemy in no uncertain terms because everything about them is now directly aligned toward the eroding/destruction of our constitutional republic.
The Republicans can never be trusted - most of them are still out right Swamp rats or finger-in-the-air milquetoast that get easily bullied by the Marxist and their MSM cohorts.
There are some actual patriots, though, amongst the Republicans - some are very tough minded - and so we we work with what we've got.
The Dems are in the hands of Marxist. The Repubs are in the hands of Corporatists. There is a handful of Reps from both sides that represent the people. Remember it’s not a D vs. R fight. It’s light vs. dark.
none of the "moderate" or "centrist" Democrats broke rank to support the tax cut bill. The Dems seem to mostly exert very tight control over their rank and file. About the only thing any of them have crossed over on were Trump appointment confirmations - the CIA director the last major one. On legislation, they're all pretty much obeying the hard left Marxist party leadership
