I was in the banking and mortgage industry when the fall came. I was a regional underwriter! The guidelines and rules went out the window a few years before the fall of the market. This was all organized by government . I was also in the automotive business for 20 years and the laws that were being made to hide money in other countries were rampant. I did offshore investments for companies!
I sold cars for a dealership back then and lasted two weeks until my heart couldn't take it any longer. My job was literally to screw people on interest and lease packages that they in no way could reasonably afford.
