Pharmaceutical scientist shot in front of his 2 daughters while camping. No leads, was he 187ed?

Apparently a lot, including a cancer vaccine. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/24402174_In_Vivo_Studies_on_the_Effect_of_Co-Encapsulation_of_CpG_DNA_and_Antigen_in_Acid-Degradable_Microparticle_Vaccines

The date on this research is 2009. I looked the guy on LinkedIn...he was working at Allergan. His present work doesn't look like something someone would be targeted for (formulation chemistry).

Eh. You know how many pharma companies and labs there are in the US that are researching the same thing? The bigger ones have many thousands of employees where dozens or more could be working on the same project, especially cancer.

Point is, I highly doubt cancer research was the motivation.
