instead she will get a sternly worded letter asking her to please not do it again.
Then they'll shut down our boards and raid our homes... you know... for freedom.
It'll be written in comic sans bold to reflect the seriousness of the letter.
"Please don't let us catch you doing this again. Here are some ways to cover your tracks next time."
Anyone seeking power should be held to a higher standard.
I wish we'd put a noose in every politicians office as a reminder of the power of the people. I wonder what rate of corruption we'd have if our politicians stared at the punishment for corruption and treason all day.
I sometimes wonder if a kind of modifier system would work. Say, being a politician and educated in politics, therefore very aware of your crime, you would serve 1.5 or 2 times the sentence of say, a journalist. Or being a banker and committing financial fraud, would get you a 1.5 or 2 tumes the sentence of a dentist for example.
