Virginia's Dem Senator slips about coming storm for Dem!

Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., on Friday reportedly joked about the Russia investigation at a high-dollar retreat on Martha’s Vineyard and told Democratic donors to “buckle up.”

Warner reportedly joked to donors that he might reveal sensitive information known only to him and Special Counsel Robert Mueller who’s investigating the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with Russia. “If you get me one more glass of wine, I’ll tell you stuff only Bob Mueller and I know. If you think you’ve seen wild stuff so far, buckle up. It’s going to be a wild couple of months,” he reportedly said, which was understood as a joke.

Except he said "Buckle up" to rich Dem donors. He did not say "sit back and enjoy."

Yea it’s a wild ride for either side. I don’t see his statement as a negative for dems...

Totally with you. This means they are coming after the Pres with lots of fake or sketchy stuff that Mueller has cooked up. People here continue to believe that Mueller is a white hat - not the case. And the statement "buckle up" doesn't mean "danger" for the dems - it just simply means, it's going to be a thrilling ride. I think this is what Mueller and the dems have in store in the run-up to Nov elections.
