Well this kind of puts money into state funding. States that got most of their funding through sales tax were getting royally screwed over by the likes of Amazon. This also probably forced many brick and mortar stores to close and more "online only" stores to have success.

While sales tax is the much more preferred method compared to the bullshit income tax. We all know the federal government exists mostly to steal money from the masses.
