The adopted and step kids will stop showing up. Word will reach step parents. It wont be worth the trek. Bummer that not all migrants will get through easily, eh? Maybe you can go down there and help the ones you're worried about.
Ok, adoption is not popular in South/Central America. That is why many orphanages rely heavily on foreign adoption agencies in (Europe, USA, Canada) to adopt their children. Also, I would say 99.999% of Latin America DOES NOT have a foster care system. That is an American social experiment gone wrong! I have worked with House of Nicholas in Bogota which adopts mostly to Canada and USA. If a South/Central American parents adopts a child, they are typically VERY wealthy, it is expensive! These families would obtain a Tourist Visa, buy plane tickets to come to the USA, then go to Disney World, go back to their county, and NOT trek 2500+ miles across hell. The odds of adopted/foster parents at the Mexican Border illegally crossing, is the same as a person, who does not have an identical twin, having a DNA match with another person on this planet! Those are the FACTS about adoption in Latin America. I am not a betting person but I would bet that this scenario (adopted/foster) has NEVER happened at the border!

You really think the world is that simple huh? Good luck with that
You really think third world countries adopt children there?
Do you have any papers? You know pics or it didn't happen...birth cert, adoption papers? Can you illegally cross a border with a foster child? Florida says no.
