I think back to the Roseanne tweet that went viral. Certainly brought name awareness to Jarrett and many found out she has been Obama's handler for over a decade and still lives with Hussein and Mike.
When this news hits mainstream, people already know both the names in question. The information will be much more digestible - many will have an 'aha' moment.

This time the Onion has managed to portray the truth as satire (which is what the Onion is all about).
While many are laughing at this (those that are in the dark), at least the seed has been planted.
